Cleft Palate Gallop 5K and Fun Walk
The 17th annual Cleft Palate Gallop takes place on September 27, 2026 at the Old Well on the UNC Chapel Hill campus, 180 E. Cameron Ave., Chapel Hill, NC 27514. Dental students at the Adams School of Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill host the event.

- 1.2 Mile Family Fun Walk
All proceeds will go directly to the UNC Craniofacial Center to support comprehensive, specialized treatment for pediatric patients with craniofacial conditions. The student-led organization Magical Moments helps provide support for patients of the Craniofacial Center.
Registration details from the organizer: registration opens August 10 and closes September 24; both the 5K and the Fun Walk have a listed fee of $25, with the price increasing to $30 after September 24 at 11:59 PM EDT. Early registration is noted as the way to secure a guaranteed shirt size. In-person registration is available on race day beginning at 7:00 AM.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Carrboro on Friday, September 25 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Fleet Feet Carrboro offers a 10% discount on in-store purchases for participants the weekend of the event and supports local race efforts.
