Cleethorpes Maravan Marathon Day 1 2026
The event is the first day of the Cleethorpes Maravan Marathon double, held at Haven Cleethorpes Beach Holiday Park in Humberston, DN36 4GG. The Saturday programme features a full marathon run as a seven lap course on mostly empty, seaside roads and mixed terrain. The course will be operated under ARC regulations and the permit number will be displayed at Race HQ.
Entry is limited to 50 runners and the minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 31 October 2026. Numbers are to be collected on the day. Finishers receive a Vigilantes medal for each day of the double and a goody bag. The event is organised by Vigilantes Running and linked community organisation Vigilantes Maravan CIC.
On the same weekend there is a half marathon on the Sunday and a four-berth Maravan relay on the Saturday as alternative options. The event notes that no refunds or deferrals are permitted, but transfers to another runner are possible; transfers close on 31 October 2026. In case of exceptionally poor weather that makes running dangerous and forces cancellation, entries may be carried over to the following year.
