Event Overview
The Cleethorpes Maravan Marathon Day 1 is a coastal running event held at the Haven Cleethorpes Beach Holiday Park in Humberston. This event takes place during the winter season, utilizing the quiet roads of a virtually deserted caravan park. It is designed as a sociable event with a local flavor, focusing on a unique venue and a relaxed atmosphere rather than competitive intensity.
The race follows a 7-lap course within the park grounds. The terrain is described as flat and multi-terrain. The marathon is run under ARC regulations, and the event is recognized for 100 Marathon Club membership. Participation is limited to a maximum of 50 entrants to maintain the small-scale nature of the race.
