The Wolds Farm Loop - 6 Hours
The Wolds Farm Loop is a six-hour looped running challenge held on an approximate 5.45 km loop with about 71 metres of elevation per lap. Participants can complete one lap or repeat the loop to cover distances from a single 5 km-style outing up to marathon and ultra distances according to their own plan.
The route passes rolling open fields, off-road farm tracks, quiet stretches of tarmac, and areas of ancient woodland valleys. The event takes place within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and uses a single aid station located at the start/finish area known as The Shop. The aid station is stocked with real food options such as jelly babies, fudge, cake, and cheese straws. Competitors may leave personally labelled nutrition at the aid station for their own use.
Logistics include limited parking in two nearby locations at approximately 200 m and 400 m from the venue. The event does not provide disposable cups or bottles; participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle to top up at the aid station. A bag drop shelter or gazebo is usually available but belongings are left at the owner’s discretion and are not continuously supervised. Dogs are not permitted. A finisher medal and goody bag are issued to anyone who completes at least one lap. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
