The Wolds Farm Loop - 6 Hours
The Wolds Farm Loop is a six-hour looped trail challenge taking place on 29 August 2026 in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near postal code LN11 0RX. The route is an approximate 5.45 km loop with 71 metres of elevation and uses a mix of rolling open fields, off-road farm tracks, quiet stretches of tarmac, and ancient woodland valleys.
Participants may complete as many laps as they choose within the six-hour event window; common targets include half marathon, marathon, or longer distances. A single aid station is located at the start/finish area, known as The Shop, and is stocked with real food such as jelly babies, fudge, cake, and cheese straws. Runners may leave clearly labelled personal supplies at the aid station.
Practical arrangements note limited parking in two locations approximately 200 m and 400 m from the event site. There is usually a shelter or dome tent for bag drop but belongings are not continuously monitored, so leaving items in a vehicle is recommended. Disposable cups or bottles are not provided; participants must bring a refillable cup or bottle for use at the aid station.
Entry is restricted to those aged 18 or older. Entry fees are listed at £23 and rise to £25 from 01/07/2026. Dogs are not permitted. Completion of one lap qualifies as a finisher and earns the event medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
