Yellow Belly 50 Mile Ultramarathon (Summer Edition)
The Yellow Belly Summer 50 Miler is a 50 mile ultramarathon held in the Lincolnshire Wolds on 12 September 2026. The route is a circular loop based at Swallow Village Hall in Lincolnshire LN7 6DL and includes approximately 1,370 m of elevation.
The course follows sections of the Viking Way and passes through historic villages and rolling arable farmland. GPX files are provided for Ordnance Survey mapping and for Garmin devices to view or download the route.
The event uses a generous 18 hour hard cut off and features four fully stocked aid stations along the route. Organisers recommend runners register and complete kit checks the evening before the race. A mandatory kit list and race day information are specified by the organiser. Entry is limited to 150 runners and places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Parking at Swallow Village is very limited and organisers ask runners to car share where possible to reduce congestion.
All finishers who complete the course within the 18 hour limit will receive a bespoke Yellow Belly finisher medal. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers. Entry cost is listed as £79. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
