Cleethorpes Maravan 4-Berth Relay
The Cleethorpes Maravan 4-Berth Relay is a team event held at the Haven Cleethorpes Beach Holiday Park in Humberston. This relay race allows participants to experience the environment of a marathon by sharing the distance among a group. The event is conducted under ARC rules and takes place on the roads within a caravan park.
The course is described as flat and utilizes the almost empty roads of the holiday park. The race is a multi-terrain event that emphasizes a sociable atmosphere. Participation is limited to 20 teams.
Each team consists of four members. The structure of the relay involves the following:
- Teams of four runners
- First three runners complete two laps each
- Final runner completes one lap
All participants receive a medal upon completion, and a trophy is awarded to the winning team. Runners have access to a feeding station during the event. Race numbers are collected on the day of the race. The minimum age for entry is 18 years.
