About the race
Cleethorpes Maravan 4-Berth Relay is a team relay staged on the Maravan marathon course on Saturday 21 November 2026 at Haven Cleethorpes Beach Holiday Park, Humberston, DN36 4GG. Teams consist of four runners who each run two laps except the final leg, which is one lap, covering the marathon distance collectively. The course runs on almost empty roads through a caravan park and is described as flat.
The event is presented with a sociable atmosphere rather than a focus on cut-throat competition. Medals are provided to all participants and a trophy is awarded to the winning team. Runners have access to the event feeding station; goody bags are reserved for full marathon entrants.
The relay is organised to follow ARC rules. Numbers were to be collected on the day. Entry conditions stated that fees are non-refundable and deferrals are not permitted, although exchanges were allowed under specified conditions; transfers and online entries are closed.
