Clear Lake Sprint and Olympic Triathlon - Fremont, IN
The event is scheduled for June 6, 2026, at Clear Lake Pub and Beach in Fremont, IN. This is the third year the sprint and Olympic triathlons are held at Clear Lake Beach. The organizer is Ruble Triathlon.
The swim takes place in Clear Lake with a sandy beach and a gradual, smooth entry. After the swim athletes climb a set of stairs to reach the transition area.
- Sprint Triathlon: 500 yard swim, 12 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Olympic Triathlon: 1650 yard swim, 24.8 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
The bike courses use much of the former TSRA and Pokagon routes and are described as flat to rolling; the Olympic course includes more hills than the sprint. The run follows town roads along Clear Lake, with wind protection in places and noted community support along the route. Additional event formats listed include duathlon, aquabike, and two- or three-person relay options. Clear Lake Pub offers coffee and breakfast items for purchase at the race site.
