Event overview
The Clear Lake Sprint and Olympic Triathlon takes place at Clear Lake Pub and Beach, 630 E Clear Lake Dr, Fremont, IN, on June 6, 2026. The event is organized by Ruble Triathlon and includes Sprint and Olympic triathlons as well as duathlon, aquabike, and relay options. This is the third year the Olympic and Sprint distances are held at Clear Lake.
Courses and race details
The swim is held in Clear Lake with a sandy beach and a gradual, smooth entry. After the swim athletes climb a set of stairs up to transition. The bike course is flat to rolling; the Olympic course is hillier than the Sprint and uses much of the former TSRA and Pokagon bike routes. The run is described as flat with wind protection along Clear Lake on town roads and includes community support.
Distances:
- Sprint: 500 yard swim; 12 mile bike; 3.1 mile run
- Olympic: 1650 yard swim; 24.8 mile bike; 6.2 mile run
Entry categories include individual age-group/open, 2- and 3-person relays, and aqua-bike and duathlon options. Listed entry fees include Sprint individual $60 and Olympic individual $85.
