Event Overview
Clayton's Hardest & Funnest 5k is a new event scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026. It features a unique 5 km course structured as four laps of approximately 0.75 miles each. Each lap concludes with a different 100-foot challenge.
Event Structure
The challenges for each lap are:
- Lap 1: Lunges
- Lap 2: Bear Crawl
- Lap 3: Burpee Broad Jump
- Lap 4: Sprint
Participants can complete the distance as an individual or as part of a relay team of up to four people. A separate KIDS Run is available for children 10 years old and younger. Registration is required for all events and includes a t-shirt and a finisher award. The deadline to guarantee a t-shirt is March 1, 2026.
Location and Festival
The race course is on a new green space behind the City of Clayton Town Hall. A festival with local vendors will be held at the Rabun County Pavilions. Parking is available in both city and county lots. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
