Clare Dairy Phil Ice Cream Summerfest 5K
The Clare Dairy Phil Ice Cream Summerfest 5K is a community 5K run/walk held in Clare, Michigan, as part of the Clare Summerfest weekend. The course starts and finishes near Clare High School at 306 Schoolcrest Ave and follows streets through the city of Clare.
Registration opens on September 24, 2025 and online registration closes on June 17, 2026. Participants who pre-register by the online deadline pay a reduced entry fee of $20. After online registration closes, all entries must be completed in person at packet pick-up on race day; day-of race registration is available for $25. There is no mail-in registration and no refunds.
T-shirts are limited to the first 100 people who sign up. All 5K participants receive a Clare Dairy Phil Ice Cream Summerfest 5K medal, which is distributed at packet pick-up. Each participant will also receive Dairy Phil ice cream after the race.
Changing facilities are available at Clare High School. Participants may run or walk the course. Dogs are not permitted for safety reasons. Baby strollers are allowed but those using strollers will be asked to start near the back of the field. Race proceeds benefit Clare High School running programs.
