City to the Sea Run
Cuesta College’s City to the Sea includes a half marathon and a 5K scheduled for October 18, 2026. The Running Warehouse half marathon is presented by Running Warehouse.
The half marathon is a point-to-point course that begins in downtown San Luis Obispo and finishes at Avila Beach. The route passes local landmarks, runs along scenic country backroads and the Bob Jones Trail, and ends at the edge of the Pacific Ocean. The Avila-Seaside 5K follows a coastal route with roughly 60 percent of the course along beach and harbor views. The route briefly joins the Bob Jones Trail and finishes at the Avila Beach Resort. Wildlife sightings may include sea lions, otters and whales. Location listed as 6464 Ana Bay Road, Avila Beach, CA 93424.
