SLO CAL Spartan Trifecta Weekend - Santa Margarita Ranch
The event takes place over two days at Santa Margarita Ranch in Santa Margarita, California. Courses run on rugged trails through vineyard rows and near the Los Padres National Forest, with visible fall colors, wildlife, and geological features. The setting includes one of the larger vineyards in the local wine region and combines open countryside with forested areas.
Multiple obstacle race formats are offered across the weekend, ranging from short youth races to a long-distance Ultra. Distances and obstacle counts listed for the main races include:
- 5 km Sprint, 20 obstacles
- 10 km Super, 25 obstacles
- 21 km Beast, 30 obstacles
- 50 km Ultra, 60 obstacles
- Kids Race 1–3 km with obstacles
- Spectator access available
The weekend schedule contains repeated Sprint and Kids Race sessions across both days and separate Super, Beast, and Ultra events. The Ultra is described as relatively fast compared with other Ultras. Additional trail events are featured during the same weekend.
