About the race
The 2027 Chevron City to Surf for genU in Karratha is a community running event on 25 July 2027 at Searipple Park, Bulgarra, WA. The event offers two course distances and age categories with separate pricing for adults and children.
Distances:
- 4 km open to adults and children
- 12 km open to adults and children
Every participant receives a branded event T-shirt, a finisher’s medal and a participation certificate. Roads on the course are fully closed for the event. On-course aid stations provide water, electrolytes, toilets and first aid. Professional medical support is available throughout the event. A post-event recovery area supplies fruit and electrolytes.
Funds raised support genU programs and home upgrades for people living with disability in Western Australia. Specifically, fundraising will help provide equipment and programs to improve accessibility and participation, and fund modernisation and accessibility improvements to genU homes across WA.
