Event Details
The City Park Classic is a running event featuring three distances: a 5k run/walk, a 10k run, and an untimed 1 Mile Walk of Hope. The event is held in November in Denver's City Park, starting at the City Park Boat House at 2001 Steele St.
Charitable Cause
The event takes place during Worldwide Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. It supports pancreatic cancer research at the CU Division of Surgical Oncology in Colorado. Participants have the option to add a donation, with 100% directed to this research. There is also a shoe donation partnership where gently used athletic shoes can be donated to benefit a separate charity.
Participant Perks
All 5k and 10k finishers receive a finisher medal. All registrants receive a white t-shirt.
