Course and Atmosphere
Runners and walkers travel through Baker Park, crossing over the Gordon River. The pathway is a public space shared with non-race pedestrians, and certain sections are narrow, requiring participants to stay no more than two across. Children under three, as well as participants with jogging strollers and leashed dogs, are permitted to join the event.
The setting includes a festive atmosphere with music and a vendor village. This village is open to both race participants and the general public, featuring food trucks and local business displays.
Participant Recognition
All registered participants who complete the course receive a finisher medal and a custom race t-shirt. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in several age divisions, ranging from 10 and under to over 80 years old. All runners are also entered into a drawing for a stay at a local hotel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
