Event Overview
CIRT's Pony Express 5K Gallop is the 7th annual running of this event, which also includes a 1K Fun Walk/Trot. The event is organized by and benefits Central Illinois Riding Therapy (CIRT), an organization that promotes the well-being of persons with disabilities through horseback riding and related activities.

Event Location & Schedule
The event takes place at 201 Veterans Drive in East Peoria, Illinois. Packet pickup is available on the day before the event at Central Illinois Riding Therapy (305 Neumann Drive, East Peoria) and on race day at the Fondulac Administration Building (201 Veterans Dr, East Peoria).
Awards
Awards are given based on both gun time and net time. Overall awards go to the top male and female finisher. Age group awards are presented to the top male and female in categories ranging from 14 & Under to 60 & Over.
