Entry rules and pricing
The listed entry fees are $25 for the 5K, $30 for the Margarita Mile, and $25 for the Taco Trot. The 5K price increases after January 30, 2026. The Taco Trot price increases after May 2, 2026. The Margarita Mile has an advance registration deadline on May 3, 2026. Anyone may participate in the 5K, but participants must be 21 or older to consume beer after the race; IDs will be checked. The Margarita Mile requires participants to be 21 or older to register. Registered Margarita Mile participants receive a canned margarita before the race and are required to finish it before starting; ID checks may occur at bib distribution and at margarita distribution. The Taco Trot is restricted to children age 10 and under; parents are invited to dress children in festive gear.
Awards
The 5K offers USATF age-group awards: overall top 3 male and female, and top 3 in age groups starting 14 & under, 15-19, then 5-year increments up to 80 & over. The Margarita Mile will name one male and one female winner. The Taco Trot provides finisher medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
