Cinco de Drinko 5K Run

Overview

The event takes place at Nova Southeastern University Carl Desantis Building in Davie, Florida.

Events and Rules

The event includes three separate races:

• 5K Run/Walk: Open to all participants. Participants must be 21 or older to receive a beer after the run. Age group awards will be given following USATF categories for the top three male and female finishers overall and in each age group.
• Margarita Mile: Participation is restricted to those 21 or older. Participants are given a canned margarita before the start and must finish it before beginning the run. The event will crown one male and one female winner.
• Taco Trot: This is a 400-meter dash for children 10 years old and under. Finishers receive medals.

Awards

Awards are given for the 5K and Margarita Mile. The Taco Trot awards finisher medals to all child participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
