Cinco de Drinko 5K Run, Margarita Mile and Taco Trot : Davie, FL
The event takes place on May 3, 2026 at Nova Southeastern University Carl DeSantis Building, 3050 Ray Ferrero Jr Blvd, Davie, FL 33314. It comprises three separate competitions and is presented as a multi-event community running activity.

Awards and recognition are event specific. The 5K offers USATF age group awards: Overall Top 3 Male and Female plus top three in each age group beginning at 14 and under, then 15–19, and continuing in five year increments through 80 and over. The Margarita Mile names one male and one female winner. The Taco Trot provides finisher medals for participating children.
Rules and participant restrictions are stated. The 5K is open to anyone, but alcohol after the run is limited to participants 21 and over with ID checks enforced. The Margarita Mile requires registrants to be 21 and over; participants receive a canned margarita before the start and must consume it before beginning the mile; registrants who are not 21 will be disqualified without refund and may be asked for ID at distribution. The Taco Trot is restricted to children 10 and under and organizers encourage parents to dress trotters in taco or Cinco de Mayo themed attire.
