2026 Cincinnati Aruna Run
The 2026 Cincinnati Aruna Run is a Labor Day run and walk held at Smale Riverfront Park in downtown Cincinnati on September 7, 2026. The event offers in-person and virtual options and supports the Aruna Project, an organization that works to free, employ, and empower trafficked women.
Distances offered include:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Virtual 10K, 5K, 1 Mile
Age requirements are specified for each distance: participants must be at least 12 years old for the 10K, while the 5K and 1 Mile are open to all ages. Registration is tiered by date and organizers note that registering by July 30 guarantees a t shirt. Registration fees are directed to Aruna Project programs, including training centers in Southeast Asia.
Race logistics and services include courses that start and end at Smale Riverfront Park, one water stop on the 5K course and two water stops on the 10K course, chip timing provided by Race Penguin, and results available via the Race Penguin app, a QR code on bibs, or at a results tent. Packet pick up is available at a run expo on Sunday September 6 at MadTree Brewing and on race day at Smale Riverfront Park. Parking options include nearby street, garage, and public lots.
