CHSFW Rubber Ducky Half Marathon
The CHSFW Rubber Ducky event takes place on Sunday October 18, 2026 at Burnaby Lake Regional Park, West Field #2 next to the playground. This is the 19th annual edition.

The 21.1 km and 7 mile routes circle Burnaby Lake counterclockwise and use the park's trail network. Burnaby Lake is a wildlife sanctuary where participants can see birds and other animals. The lake is of glacial origin and its shores were home to sawmills in the late 1800s.
The event is chip timed with a display clock; results are only recorded for tagged participants. Runners must attach the timing tag to their shoe laces and wear the bib on the front of the body. Timing tags must be returned after the race to avoid a replacement fee. There are two water stations positioned roughly 5 km apart on opposite sides of the lake. The course is open for three hours.
Awards include medals for 1st through 3rd overall female and male provided the athlete is present at awards. The race package, while supplies last, includes a souvenir medal, a swag item choice with a reusable bag, individual timing, after event snacks, a race bib and participant insurance.
