CHSFW Rubber Ducky Race at Burnaby Lake
The CHSFW Rubber Ducky event offers multiple distances on trails that circle Burnaby Lake Regional Park, a wildlife sanctuary located within the city. The course runs counter clockwise around the lake and uses approved city permits.
Distances offered:
- 5K
- 7 Mile
- Half Marathon (21.1K)
Two water stations are positioned approximately 5K apart on opposite sides of the lake. The event is tag timed; participants must attach the timing tag to their shoe laces and return the tag after the race to avoid a $40 charge. Results are intended to be posted within 24 hours. A participant package, while supplies last, may include a souvenir finishing medal, a swag item, individual timing, race bib, after-event snacks, and random prizes. Overall placing medals are awarded to the top three female and male finishers, and must be claimed in person at the awards. A bag check is available by donation near the start and finish.
