Event Overview
The Chrysalis Vineyards Wine Run 5k is a sporting event held at Chrysalis Vineyards in Middleburg, Virginia. This event offers participants the opportunity to complete a timed course through a working agricultural district. The route is designed as an out and back course that leads runners through pastures, past a dairy avec livestock, and directly through the vineyard rows.
Participants can choose between two primary distances and formats:

Course Details and Rules
The course features natural terrain with views of the surrounding nature and vineyard infrastructure. Due to the uneven ground throughout the pastures and vines, the use of strollers is not recommended. The event is restricted to participants aged 21 and older, and all attendees must provide identification. Pets are not permitted on the course.
Participant Information
Each registered participant receives a cotton t-shirt, a portable shatterproof wine glass, and a finisher medal that also functions as a wine stopper. A pour of wine is included with the registration. The race is chip-timed, and results are posted online following the conclusion of the event. Awards are available for the top three finishers in various age categories, ranging from under 10 to over 80 years old. Packet pickup is conducted on the day of the event.
