Event details
Phoenix Running will hold the Christmas Advent Run on 30 November 2025 in Walton on Thames at the Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Waterside Drive, KT12 2JG. The event is limited to 150 entrants and the minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 29 November 2025. There is a prize draw linked to the event and all participants receive a chocolate advent calendar; a physical memento or medal is provided unless the entrant chooses the no-medal option.
Course and format
The event uses a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out-and-back lap along the riverside towpath on off-road trail. The overall course has no elevation gain or loss. Participants may complete one or more laps to register distances from short road/trail distances up to ultra distances. The minimum recorded distance is one lap. The event operates a flexible "rock up and run" start format within a one hour start window and has a fixed maximum event duration of up to 6 hours.
