Chris Cook 5K Run/Walk
The event on July 25, 2026 is a 5K run/walk that starts and finishes at Fremont High School in Fremont, Michigan. The course passes by Fremont Lake and Fremont Lake Park and uses mostly paved roads with approximately 400 meters of gravel.
The route includes one large hill located just past the two-mile mark. There is a single water station at the 1.5 mile mark. Age divisions are provided in multiple brackets: 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
Registration opens May 6, 2026 and closes July 25, 2026; the published registration fee is $35.00. The event takes place on public roads and park areas near the lake and the high school. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
