Frostbite 5K Run : Fremont, MI
The Frostbite 5K Run takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Fremont, Michigan. The race began in 1979 as part of the Fremont Winterfest Celebration and is the only event from that celebration that continues today. It serves as a fundraiser for the Fremont Boys and Girls Cross Country teams.
Headquarters are in the Fremont High School cafeteria, and the start and finish are located on school grounds. Entry is charged per runner; the standard fee is $35 and the late registration fee is $40. On-site registration is available on race morning in the school cafeteria. Pre-registered entrants are eligible to receive a long sleeve shirt.
The event fields male and female age divisions beginning with "10 and under" and continuing through standard five-year brackets up to "70 and up." Course maps are provided for the 5K and a 10K route is also available in event materials. Results are published through the event page.
