Chopwell Woods "Burger & Beer" Trail Runs take place on Saturday 27 June 2026 at Chopwell Woods, Rowlands Gill, NE39 1LT. Wild Deer Events returns to this Forestry England site, which covers about 360 hectares of mixed woodland next to Rowlands Gill on the fringe of Gateshead. The event marks the organiser's annual summer trail runs at this venue.
The event is set on trail routes within the woodland. A 5 mile lap route is used for the shorter distance.

The event is Canicross friendly; one controlled dog per runner is allowed. Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event medal, a burger or alternative, and a beer or soft drink. Free on-site parking is available; spaces are very limited. Registration opens 26 September 2025 and closes 24 June 2026. Entry prices listed are £25 + fee for 5 miles, £26 + fee for 10 miles, and £27 + fee for 15 miles; remaining places were shown in the event information.
