Chopwell Woods "Burger & Beer" Trail Runs take place at Chopwell Woods, Rowlands Gill, NE39 1LT, on Saturday 27 June 2026. The venue is a Forestry England site of about 360 hectares next to Rowlands Gill, on the fringe of Gateshead. Registration opens 26 September 2025 and closes 24 June 2026.

Course and race services
The event uses marked trail routes, including a 5 mile lap route. Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North. The event is Canicross friendly - one controlled dog per runner is allowed. All finishers receive an event medal, a burger or alternative, and a beer or soft drink. Free on-site parking is available, but spaces are very limited. Remaining entry places were listed as 200 for each distance and entry prices were shown as £25, £26, and £27 plus fees for the 5, 10 and 15 mile options respectively.
