CHOPWELL WOODS "BURGER & BEER" TRAIL RUNS 2026
The event takes place on Saturday 27 June 2026 at Chopwell Woods, Rowlands Gill, NE39 1LT. The venue is a Forestry England site set within 360 hectares of mixed woodland next to Rowlands Gill on the fringe of Gateshead.

The event offers the following distances:
- 5 Miles
- 10 Miles
- 15 Miles
Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North. The event is Canicross friendly - one controlled dog per runner is allowed. All finishers receive an event medal, a burger or alternative, and a beer or soft drink. Free on-site parking is available, but spaces are very limited.
Registration opens 26/09/2025 05:00 and closes 24/06/2026 23:59. Entry prices listed are: 5 Mile £26.00 plus fee, 10 Mile £27.00 plus fee, 15 Mile £28.00 plus fee. A 5 mile route lap is indicated for the shorter distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
