Chopwell Woods "Burger & Beer" Trail Runs take place on 27 June 2026 at Chopwell Woods, Rowlands Gill, NE39 1LT. The site is a Forestry England woodland of about 360 hectares next to Rowlands Gill on the fringe of Gateshead. The event returns to the same venue used for the organiser's first event in 2019.

Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North. The event is Canicross friendly; one controlled dog per runner is allowed. All finishers receive an event medal, a burger or alternative, and a beer or soft drink. Free on-site parking is available but spaces are very limited, and the organiser suggests walking or car sharing where possible. Registration opens 26 September 2025 and closes 24 June 2026.
