The 8th Annual Chocolate Challenge
The Chocolate Challenge is a charity sports event held in Liverpool, New York, at Long Branch Park. This annual event serves as a fundraiser for Kelleigh's Cause, a non-profit organization that supports medical research for Arteriovenous Malformations (AVM) and rare diseases, as well as public education. All proceeds from the race are directed toward these research and awareness initiatives.
The event offers several participation options for runners and walkers:
- 10K Run
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- Virtual 10K
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk
Participants who attend the in-person event at Long Branch Park receive a race shirt and a commemorative medal. Following the completion of the course, chocolate treats are provided to all participants.
Packet pickup is organized at the Long Branch Park parking lot on the day before the event and on the morning of the race. The race packet contains the official event shirt and the participant's bib.
