China Grove Rotary Fall Crawl 5K Run/Walk & Half-Mile Fun Run
This event in China Grove on 10/17/2026 features an in-person 5K Run/Walk, a half-mile Fun Run, and a virtual 5K option. The in-person 5K follows a rolling route on a closed course through the Landis Ridge Industrial Park and Old Beatty Ford Road, with start and finish at the Ridgeview Street start line. Halloween costumes are welcome.

- Virtual 5K (includes T-shirt and mailing option)
Entry and race items include: 5K entry $30 ($20 under age 18); Half-Mile Fun Run $30 ($20 under age 18) or $10 without a T-shirt; Virtual 5K $35 with T-shirt and mailing. T-shirts are guaranteed for 5K and Fun Run entrants except the $10 Fun Run option. Packet pickup is scheduled on race day starting at 2 pm; late registration T-shirt pickup time is to be determined. Virtual participants may pick up T-shirts or receive them by mail.
Awards are presented after the 5K and include Top 3 Overall; Top 3 in each age group male and female for the 5K; and Top 3 for age 8 and under in the Fun Run. Walkers are eligible for age group awards. Age groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.
Event proceeds fund China Grove Rotary youth initiatives in southern Rowan County, including YMCA youth programs, youth sports, camps, scholarships, Interact clubs, school projects, and teacher grants. Refreshments will be provided. Parking is onsite between Building 1A and 1B using the Armstrong Street entrance. There is an opportunity for combined-time recognition with a separate morning 5K in Spencer; the top five males and top five females with the fastest combined times receive special recognition following this event.
