Chilly Willy 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Oklahoma City
This winter-themed running event takes place on January 16, 2027 at Lake Stanley Draper Park in Oklahoma City. It offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
Every participant receives a finisher medal. Overall and age group awards are presented for each distance in five-year categories starting at 10 and under. The event includes themed swag and a finish-line experience.
Course details: the 5K and 10K are single out-and-back routes and the half marathon is a double loop. The course is mostly flat, which can support faster net times. Self-serve water stations are placed at approximately 1.5 mile intervals; participants who prefer not to stop may bring personal hydration. The course cutoff for the half marathon is 3 1/2 hours, which corresponds to about 16 minutes per mile.
A virtual race option is available for remote participants. Virtual entrants can run at a location of their choice, submit results online, and view official results the Monday after the event date. Race day registration and check-in are available, and the last day to register to guarantee a shirt size is January 8, 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
