Chills In The Mill: Harwoods Half Marathon & 5K

The event offers two timed running events on terrain that includes mixed surfaces and potential muddy sections. Courses feature aid stations described as ultra-style. The half marathon has a 4-hour time limit. Awards are presented onsite to the top three male and top three female finishers in each event.

Both races begin off Oriana Road in Yorktown, located across from the Harwoods Mill fishing area. Participants are asked to park at the McReynolds Athletic Center; shuttle service will transport people from the parking area to the start location. Registration opens 13 August 2026 at 09:00 and closes 29 September 2026 at 23:59. Listed registration fees are $70.00 for the half marathon and $30.00 for the 5K.
