Event overview
The Chill Chase 5k & 10k takes place on January 10, 2026 at Bladensburg Waterfront Park, 4601 Annapolis Rd., Bladensburg, MD. Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Winter Series. A virtual race option is offered. The event benefits Semper Fi & America’s Fund.

Course and logistics
The course is an out-and-back on a paved path with minimal elevation gain. The 10k is two laps. The event is chip timed; finishers receive a medal and a technical (Drifit) event shirt. Shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before December 22; extra shirts will be available after that on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration fees listed are: 5k $30 until December 15 ($35 after that date), 10k $45 until December 15 ($50 after that date). Price increases on race morning by $5 for each distance. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered. There are three water stations on the 10k at about miles 1.55, 3.1, and 4.65, and one water station on the 5k at about mile 1.55; Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are located within the park. Live results are posted on Athlinks and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to 1st and 2nd place in defined age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
