Event overview
The Chill Chase 5k & 10k takes place on January 10, 2026 at Bladensburg Waterfront Park in Bladensburg, Maryland. Points from the event count toward the organizer’s Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Winter Series. The event benefits Semper Fi & America’s Fund. A virtual race option is available. Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (Dri-fit) event shirt, and the event is chip timed.

The course is an out-and-back on a paved path with minimal elevation gain. The 10k consists of two laps. Water stations are planned at approximately mile markers 1.55 on the 5k and at 1.55, 3.1, and 4.65 on the 10k; Gatorade will be available at some stations. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered. Shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before December 22; extras are available after that on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees listed by the organizer: 5k $30 until December 15 ($35 after), 10k $45 until December 15 ($50 after); fees increase on race morning by $5 per distance. Live results will be posted on Athlinks and final results with series points will be posted the Monday after the race.
