Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival - Fayetteville, AR
The Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival is a community running event held at the Arkansas Cross Country Course in Fayetteville, AR on October 2-3, 2026. The festival supports public high school cross-country programs in Northwest Arkansas; it operates as a 501(c)(3) organization and has supported local school programs for 38 years. Registrations are considered donations to the non-profit and the standard policy is that registrations will not be refunded.
The weekend program includes a one-mile community dash and two community race distances on the Hogs Cross Country Course. VIP options and spectator parking are offered with additional benefits described below. After July 1, schools and teams use a separate registration site for team entries.
- 1 mile - Tom Lewis Pepper Dash, open to all ages
- 4K - Godpepper 4K Community Race, one loop on the Hogs course
- 8K - Godpepper 8K Community Race, two loops on the Hogs course
VIP registrations include a t-shirt and a swag bag, access to preferred parking, a VIP tent with drinks and snacks, and designated VIP portable restrooms. Race fees vary by event and by registration date; community registration and VIP registration are available through the event registration page.
