Talk Pirate to Me 5K/10K/Half - Rogers
The Talk Pirate to Me event is a themed running event held on the Blossom Trail in Rogers, AR that celebrates International Talk Like a Pirate Day throughout the month. The event offers three distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All races are chip timed. Finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are presented in each distance to the top three male and female finishers in traditional five-year age groups. Water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles. The half marathon requires a minimum finishing pace of 16 minutes per mile.
Registration is offered in three pricing tiers with different deadlines: regular, late, and race day, and a virtual race option is available. The virtual option allows participants to run or walk remotely, submit results online, and view official results the Monday following the event date. Participants who register by the listed guarantee date receive race swag in their registered size while supplies last.
Course maps are available for each distance and all races use chip timing to record performance. The event includes in-person and virtual participation formats and maintains standard racing services such as aid stations and age group awards.
