Event Details

Childish Nonsense is a trail running event taking place in Deer Grove Forest Preserve West in Palatine, Illinois. The event offers four distances: a 50 Miler, 50K, 25K, and 10K. The trail is described as a wide path with nothing too technical. The course is laps of approximately 5.5 miles each. There is one aid station located at the start/finish area, which participants pass on each lap. Crew access is only permitted at the start/finish area. Pacers are allowed for the 50-mile distance after four loops. A cutoff time of 8:00 PM applies to all distances.

Organizer

The event is organized by CUSS Running (Curious Ultrarunner's Secret Society). The group aims to build community and inject a sense of whimsy into running.
