Holiday 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon
The US Road Running event in Piedmont, Alabama, offers three distinct distances for participants at Piedmont Park. This event is part of a larger race series and features a structured course layout centered on out-and-back loops. All participants must complete their registration online through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration.
The event features the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The 5K and 10K courses utilize a 0.78-mile out-and-back section, totaling 1.56 miles per loop. Participants in the 5K complete this loop two times, while those in the 10K complete it four times. The Half Marathon course uses a slightly different 1.09-mile out-and-back section, resulting in a 2.18-mile loop. Half Marathon runners are required to complete this loop six times to reach the total distance.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in place for all events. Packet pickup is conducted shortly before the start, beginning 30 minutes prior and concluding 10 minutes before the first runners depart. All finishers receive a medal upon completion of their race.
