The Medal Madness races take place on December 5, 2026, at Piedmont Park in Piedmont, AL. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1)
All entrants must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race.
Courses and race information
The 5K and 10K use a short course segment of 0.78 miles. One out-and-back on that segment measures 1.56 miles; the 5K repeats the out-and-back twice and the 10K repeats it four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09-mile segment. One out-and-back on that segment measures 2.18 miles; the half marathon repeats the out-and-back six times. The course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
