Chickamauga Chicken and Waffles 5K Dash
The Chickamauga Chicken and Waffles event is a race day held on June 13, 2026 in Chickamauga, Georgia at 217 Cove Road. The running program takes place during the Chickamauga Chicken & Waffles Festival and includes two timed running events.
Distances offered:
- 3.1 Miles (5k Chicken And Waffle Dash)
- 1 Mile (The Syrup Stroll-1 Miler)
Participants are invited to take part in a Chicken & Waffles Costume Challenge with awards in categories such as Best Chicken, Best Waffle, Funniest Costume, and Best Group Costume. Every participant will receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal at the finish line.
Competitive awards are planned for overall male and female finishers and for age-group winners in these brackets: 0–9, 10–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60+. Registration opens March 15, 2026 and closes June 13, 2026. Listed registration fees are $55.00 for the 5k and $45.00 for the 1-mile event.
