The Last Annual Heart of the South Road Race
The Last Annual Heart of the South Road Race is a self-supported road endurance event near Bryant, Georgia held from June 9 to June 19, 2027. The event offers two course options and a fixed overall cutoff of 10.5 days to return to the parked vehicles.
Participants assemble on the morning of the bus ride, park vehicles at Castle Rock Ranch on Sand Mountain, and are transported by bus backward along the course to the start area. After the initial bus transfer participants receive maps showing the route they will take back to their vehicles and spend one night in double occupancy motel rooms before being bused to the start.

Runners may withdraw at any time and will be transported back to the parking area when feasible. Finishers and their vehicles are shuttled to motels near the finish.
