Juneteenth Unity Run and Walk : 5th Annual Freedom Run: United We Stand
This event takes place on June 20, 2026, at the Hubert Fry Center in Tennessee Riverpark, Amnicola Highway, Chattanooga, TN. It is presented as a community event to show unity while celebrating Juneteenth.
The event offers multiple measured running and walking options. All courses are out and back and start at the Hubert Fry Center. The half marathon is run as two repeats of the 10K course.
Distances:
- 5K out and back course starting at the Hubert Fry Center
- 10K out and back course starting at the Hubert Fry Center
- Half marathon two laps of the 10K out and back course
- 1 Mile Walk out and back course starting at the Hubert Fry Center
Medals are awarded to all finishers. There are overall and age group awards; listed age groups include 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 plus.
