Chi-Town Miles : Chicago area evening track meet
Chi-Town Miles is an evening track meet of one mile races held on Saturday, July 18, 2026. The event stages multiple seeded heats for one mile races and includes kids sprint events for younger participants. The advertised event location is TBD; packet pick-up is scheduled the day before at Fleet Feet Old Town and race day pick-up at Montrose Beach Wilson Track. Travel and parking details are provided but are based on the 2025 location and may change for 2026.

Heats are seeded by entry time and run from slower to faster sections; genders may be combined except for the fastest Open and Top heats which are gender specific. FinishLynx timing will be used and finish placement follows USATF rules. Results will be posted live to the event website; Kids Dash results are not produced.
Entry fees vary by registration period and CARA Supporter Level members receive a 10 percent discount. The event has a capacity of 550 and participants must finish within 15 minutes. Refunds and deferrals are not issued under the event refund policy.
Awards include overall and age group recognition with age groups from 14 and under through 85 and over; overall awards are presented at a ceremony and age group awards are mailed afterward. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
