C.H.H.I.P.S. Trot 'N Brew
The C.H.H.I.P.S. Trot 'N Brew is a chip timed 1.5 mile novelty race held on August 15, 2026, in Conyngham, Pennsylvania. The event uses the streets near the CVCO Rec Center at 1 Gould's Way and includes designated stops at local establishments along the course.
Competitors must enter each designated establishment on the course, purchase a 25 cent draft beer and then continue to the finish line. Entry is limited to participants aged 21 or older, a government issued photo ID is required for registration, shirts must be worn, and participants are asked to carry quarters for purchases. A soft drink may be substituted in place of beer. The number of official establishment stops will be determined by organizers; listed establishments include Cuz-N-Joe's, Conyngham Brewing Company, Brass Buckle, and others.
Registration opens January 1, 2026 and closes January 31, 2026. The registration fee is $20.00. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Helping Hands Society, a nonprofit that provides developmental support and therapies for children from birth to elementary age in Luzerne, Carbon, and Schuylkill Counties and relies on public support to assist families who cannot afford services.
