Chew Valley Reservoir Run
The Chew Valley Reservoir Run is a charity running event at Chew Valley Lake on Sunday 20th September 2026. The meeting point and finish area are adjacent to the Salt & Malt car park at Walley Lane, Chew Stoke, Chew Magna, Bristol, BS40 8SZ.
Participants can choose from these distances:
- 2.5 km (age 5 years and over)
- 5 km (age 8 years and over)
- 10 km (age 15 years and over)
Entry costs £15 and proceeds help raise funds for The Grand Appeal (Registered Charity 1043603), the official charity for Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity. Places are limited and entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Facilities at the venue include a car park with an overflow car park on Walley Court Road (BS40 8TF) and toilet facilities. The Salt & Malt café and chip shop will be open for refreshments. A water station will be located at the finish line; 5 km and 10 km routes pass this point. Runners will receive a race bib on the day, a commemorative medal and a goodie bag at the finish. Trophies are awarded to the top three finishers in each distance.
Dogs and buggies are allowed; dogs must be kept on a short lead. Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult. The exact start locations will be confirmed closer to the event date. Headphones are not permitted during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
