Chevron Houston Marathon
The Chevron Houston Marathon weekend is a multi-day road-racing event in Houston that includes a marathon, a half marathon, and a 5K, plus supporting weekend activities. The weekend program includes a Health & Fitness EXPO with marathon, half marathon, and 5K packet pickup held at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Packet pickup takes place at the convention center 3rd Floor Entrance in Hall A3 after leaving packet pickup in Hall B3.
Race-day activities extend beyond competition and include RunFest at Discovery Green (Jones Lawn) with a Charity and Running Club Village. The We Are Houston 5K is organized separately on Saturday with a start at McKinney and Crawford. The Chevron Houston Marathon and the Aramco Houston Half Marathon start at Congress and Fannin. Wheelchair and handcycle divisions and elite fields are listed for the marathon and half marathon.
The event website lists logistics for the George R. Brown Convention Center, including hall access changes to prepare for finishers and post-race services and the availability of athlete services and gear check. The event also highlights charity programs such as RFAR and the Houston Marathon Foundation, a volunteer program, pace teams, and race results and legacy information. Registration for the 2027 main event is listed as sold out. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
