Event overview
The Chevron Houston Marathon weekend includes multiple race distances and related events in Houston, Texas. The primary races are:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 5K
The weekend also features wheelchair and handcycle divisions for the 5K and for the Marathon and Half Marathon. A health and fitness expo with participant packet pick-up is part of race weekend. A post-race festival called RunFest and a charity and running club village are included in the schedule.
Race weekend schedule and locations
A Shake Out Run is listed for Wednesday, January 7, 2026 (details TBD). The Houston Marathon Health & Fitness EXPO takes place at the George R. Brown Convention Center, 3rd Floor Entrance in Hall B3 after leaving packet pick-up in the George Bush Grand Ballroom. The We Are Houston 5K starts at McKinney & Crawford. RunFest and the charity and running club village are at Discovery Green, Jones Lawn. The Chevron Houston Marathon and the Aramco Houston Half Marathon start at Congress & Fannin.
