Chestertown Tea Party Distance Classic

The Chestertown Tea Party Distance Classic & Run for Radcliffe is an annual community event held in Chestertown, Maryland. This event serves as a fundraiser for Radcliffe Creek School, supporting scholarships for students with learning differences. The race takes place in conjunction with the local Tea Party Festival and features routes that lead through the countryside of Kent County.

Participants can choose between two main distances:

  • 5 km
  • 10 miles

Both courses start from Wilmer Park in Chestertown. The event is open to both runners and walkers. Historically, the race has seen over 700 participants. Corporate and family sponsorships are available to support the school's need-based scholarship fund, which assists a significant portion of its student body. The school focuses on research-backed education for children with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
