Registration and logistics
Registration opens January 30, 2026. The registration fee is listed as $43.40, which includes a processing fee. The event information states that the entry includes chip timing (or Race Joy for virtual participants), a t-shirt, a medal, and a race bag. Registration is limited to the first 500 live or virtual participants. There are no refunds or transfers.
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Ruggles Golf Course; virtual race packets will be mailed. Race day packet pickup begins at 9:00 am. The race is being timed and managed by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing, LLC.
The 5K will use an out-and-back course that starts near the intersection of Aerospace Road and Founders Street, proceeds to the Legacy Forest, and turns around at the Monument. Parking will be available in the lot adjacent to the start/finish, accessible from the Bayonet Road entrance. Visitors must follow Aberdeen Proving Ground visitor procedures and have ID and vehicle registration to obtain a visitor pass.
Awards are given to the top three men and women in overall and multiple age groups. Gift registrations will be made available to Gold Star Family Members at no charge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
