West Cheshire TEN - 25 July 2027
West Cheshire TEN takes place on Sunday 25 July 2027 at Cheshire County Sports Club, Plas Newton Lane, Chester. The event offers three race distances:
- 10 Mile
- 10K
- Junior Race
The routes are road closed and run through the Cheshire countryside. The 10 Mile route shows an elevation gain of 98 m. Entries include a unique themed medal, chip-timed results, free race photos, post-race goodies and a bag drop. Timed results contribute to national rankings.
Event logistics note a cut-off time of 2 hours 15 minutes because the course is road closed. Minimum ages are specified for each race: 10 Mile participants must be at least 17 years, 10K participants at least 15 years, and the Junior Race is for children under 11.
On race day the event village provides food and drink and toilet facilities. Parking is available at Cheshire Horse Sanctuary and the University of Chester Creative Campus, and organisers ask attendees to avoid parking in nearby residential areas. Water stations are on the 10 Mile course at 3 miles, 5.5 miles and 8 miles, and on the 10K course at 3 km and 7 km; a bottle of water is provided at the finish. An optional event t-shirt is offered with entries as a separately purchased item. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
