Chesaning Chamber of Commerce Dry-Tri
The Chesaning Chamber of Commerce Dry-Tri is a community multisport event held in Chesaning, Michigan on August 15, 2026. The event center is Showboat Park with kayak drop-off at Parshallburg Park. Chip timing is provided.
There are two event options:
- 15.85 miles total: 7.86 mile bike, 3.54 mile run, 4.45 mile kayak/canoe
- 3.1 miles 5K run/walk
Required equipment and rules are stated: a helmet is mandatory for the bike section, each watercraft must carry a flotation device, and each racer must wear a bib that contains a chip for finishing. Race packets include stickers and bibs; packets are available for pickup in advance at the Chamber office and on specified dates, with additional pickup the morning of the event at the Showboat Park pavilion. Kayaks must display race numbers before drop-off and will be staged at Parshallburg for the paddle portion. There will be volunteers to assist with equipment staging, and organizers request that participants be able to launch and retrieve their own watercraft.
The event proceeds rain or shine, with a possible postponement to the following day only if weather is deemed unsafe. Age divisions for awards are listed and route maps for bike and run are posted by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
