Cherrylake Farm Races presented by Orlando Health South Lake Hospital
The event takes place at Cherrylake in Groveland, Florida, near Clermont. It marks the 10th anniversary of the Farm Races and offers multiple off-road and multisport options across the farm and nearby Cherry Lake Road.
The course terrain includes clay running surfaces through rows of trees and areas near natural lakes. The duathlon combines off-road running with a road cycling segment on Cherry Lake Road. Water is available before the race and at several aid stations along the courses. Results are accurately chip timed. Finishers receive event swag and post-race food. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in each race and to the top three in each 10-year age group from 19 and under to 70 plus; recipients must be present at the awards to receive the award.
Entry and logistics notes: the duathlon requires a one-day or yearly USAT membership and duathletes must pick up their own packet and present identification and membership proof. Packet pickup occurs the day before at Dash Sports Downtown Clermont and on race day at Cherrylake. Race day operations are cashless; only credit and debit cards are accepted for day-of registrations.
For each participant, Cherrylake will donate a tree through its 1000 Trees for 1000 Years program. Race proceeds support ecological and environmental projects in Central Florida and initiatives that benefit Lake County schools. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
