Event overview
The Cherrylake Farm Races take place on January 31, 2026 at Cherrylake in Groveland, Florida, just outside Clermont. The event is held on the farm’s clay trails, tree rows, and rolling hills, with routes that traverse natural lakes and farm landscape. Race formats offered include:
- Duathlon: 5k - 20k - 2.5k
- 5k
- 10k
The duathlon includes an off-road running portion through the farm and a bike portion that uses the rolling hills of Cherry Lake Road. The duathlon requires a one-day or yearly USAT license.
Logistics, timing and awards
Packet pickup is available at Dash Sports in Downtown Clermont and at Cherrylake on race day; duathletes must pick up their own packet and show ID and their USAT membership card. Event entry fees listed are $85 for the duathlon, $43 for the 10k, and $38 for the 5k; the duathlon is open to ages 12 to 100. The race provides water at several aid stations, chip timing for finishers, event swag, and post-race food. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each event and to the top three in each 10-year age group (19 and under through 70+); recipients must be present at the awards ceremony. Each registered participant triggers one tree to be donated and planted in the local community, and race proceeds support ecological projects and Lake County schools.
