Cherry City Half Marathon - Salem, OR
The event takes place on September 13, 2026 at Riverfront Park in Salem, Oregon. It offers multiple timed race distances and an untimed kids run presented by Power Kia. Packet pickup is available on the Friday and Saturday before the event and on race morning at Riverfront Park. Packet locations include Willamette Valley Vineyards and Gallagher Fitness Resources.
Included with registration are an official race shirt and a special finisher medal. A post-race area features live music, food trucks for purchase, and complimentary alcohol pours for age 21+ from the event sponsor during the finisher area. Overall awards and age group awards are presented for top finishers, and masters (age 40+) awards are offered for each race distance. A team competition will tabulate results and award top male and female teams for the three primary race distances.
Course support varies by distance but includes aid stations that provide water and electrolyte drink; several locations also offer energy chews or gels and portable toilets.
