Cherry City Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & Kids Race
The event takes place on September 13, 2026 in Riverfront Park, Salem, Oregon. It includes multiple running distances and an untimed kids run that takes place in the park. Dogs and strollers are not allowed on the race courses.

Registration opens January 1, 2026 for the adult races and the kids race; registration for the main races closes March 1, 2026 and kids race registration closes September 9, 2026. Published registration fees are $95 for the half marathon, $70 for the 10K, $50 for the 5K, and $25 for the kids run.
Packet pickup is scheduled on the Friday and Saturday before the event at two local venues: a winery tasting room and a downtown fitness location. Participants age 21 and older are offered a complimentary seasonal wine flight during packet pickup. Post-race offerings include live music, age group and overall awards, and beverage options from an exclusive wine provider and local craft beer or cider vendors. The event also includes a team competition with awards for top male and female teams and requests volunteer support from the community.
