Cherokee National Holiday Veterans Run
The Cherokee National Holiday Veterans Run is scheduled for September 5, 2026, at the Cherokee Nation War Memorial, 17675 S. Muskogee Ave, Tahlequah, OK 74464. The event includes in-person and virtual participation options and is presented as part of the Cherokee National Holiday observance.

The in-person 5K awards medals to the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups. Race shirts will be distributed after race completion while supplies last; additional shirt pick-up details will be announced later. The event is USATF-sanctioned and held on a certified course. Timing for the races is provided by Tatur Racing.
Registration details for each event include published opening and closing dates and entry fees. The 5K in-person and the virtual 5K carry the same entry fee, while the 1K Fun Run/Walk has a lower entry fee.
