Cherokee Choices Mother's Day 5K
Cherokee Choices Mother's Day 5K is a community running event held in May at Kituwah Mound, 3831 Ela Rd, Bryson City, NC. The event program includes a 5K Run/Walk and a separate Kids Fun Run and takes place on the historic site.
The course mixes paved road, farm road, and trails and runs through portions of the historic site, offering varied surfaces and scenery. Registered participants receive a Mother's Day 5K shirt.
Event entries and registration are managed with online windows. Registration opens 27 January 2027 and closes 30 April 2027. The base registration fee is listed as $15. The organizer lists entry fees as: Adults $15 through May 1 and $20 thereafter; Youth (ages 1-12) and Elders (ages 59 and older) $10.
