Cheltenham Race for Education 2026

The event is the 3rd annual Race for Education held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Elkins Park School on Kingston Rd at New Second Street in Elkins Park, PA 19027. The event is powered by Cheltenham Township Parks & Recreation for the benefit of the Cheltenham Education Foundation.

Two participation options are offered:

5K race
2-mile walk

The event includes team entries with teams of four or more noted in the event information. Proceeds support scholarships for graduating seniors and fund teacher grants that aim to foster classroom innovation in the Cheltenham School District. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top male and female finishers in the following age groups: 6-12, 13-17, 18-34, 35-49, 50-64, 65 and over.

Parking is available in the main lot at Elkins Park School and in the lot off New Second Street beside the modular building. Registrants are listed as receiving a Race For Education T-shirt while supplies last. The race will be held rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
