Chelsea Road Race 5K
The Chelsea Road Race 5K is the third annual community road race held in Chelsea, Massachusetts, with the event site at 180 Walnut Street in front of the Williams School. This edition introduces a wheelchair division for female and male participants.

Registration fees list the 5K and 5K Wheelchair at $25 each, with processing fees and taxes applied. The first 500 registered participants will receive an official event T-shirt. The fee for the first six wheelchair registrations will be waived using promo code CHELSEAUNITED2026. All finishers will receive a commemorative medal. Finish line photos will be available after the race.
Organized by the City of Chelsea Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs, the program is funded in part by the Chelsea Community Fund and a grant from the Chelsea Cultural Council, which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council.
Logistics note that the race starts on Arlington Street in front of the Williams School and that several parking options are available, including the Williams School lot, Fifth Street lots under Route 1, and the 216 Spruce Street lot. The course passes through parts of the community and will include areas with road plates and uneven pavement where participants should exercise caution. Bib pickup is available in the days before the event at the Arlington Street entrance of the Williams Jr High. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
