Chelmsford Half Marathon
Chelmsford Race Weekend, billed as the CM Half, is a road closed running event in Chelmsford, Essex, with the start and finish at Anglia Ruskin University outside the Student Union Building. The course finishes at ARU and runs along Parkway, Essex Yeomanry Way and Chelmer Village Way on closed roads.

Entries include a fully signposted course with more than 300 signs, chip timing, an XXL genuine metal medal and water stations on the course with snacks at the finish. The finish area features a purple carpet and a festival music stage; there is entertainment along the route and professional photographers provide images on a complimentary basis. The measured course is certified by the Association of UK Course Measures.
Safety and event operations are provided by a qualified traffic management team using an impact protection lorry, traffic vans and operatives, 2000 road cones and 200 traffic signs. First aid teams, response vehicles, security staff and stewards are on site. The event is UKA registered and includes event infrastructure such as gazebos, pedestrian barriers, purple carpets and temporary fencing. The organiser operates with a build team and a team of 75 or more staff on race day. England Athletics members receive a £2 discount.
