Chelmsford "Boos" Co Halloween trail run (6.66!)
The event is a Halloween themed trail run held at a brewery venue in Great Baddow, Chelmsford. It uses a GPX or Strava route with a narrative backup and emphasizes fancy dress as part of the event rather than being solely a race. The organisers hold a TRA permit number 7402 TBC and charge a £2 levy for entrants who are not TRA or EA members.
Participants will receive a medal at the finish and may claim a finishers drink and a packet of crisps by handing their race number to bar staff. A small area of the bar is available for bag storage at the entrant's risk. First aiders will be in attendance, but medical support is limited to what the event provides.
No under 18s are allowed because the venue is licensed premises. Parking for cars is not available until after 6pm and remains limited after that; alternatives such as cycling, scooters, walking, or local buses are mentioned. Total places are 50.
Entry prices listed by the organiser are:
- £16.50 until 31 Jan 2026
- £17.00 from 01 Apr 2026
- £17.50 from 13 Oct 2026
A service fee of 4 percent with a minimum of 50p applies to each sign up. A five minute time penalty applies to entrants not wearing fancy dress and costume prizes are awarded. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
